Prill Candelabra Underlined 9 Mark

I recently acquired a lovely candelabra which is clearly marked in one location with the Prill shield (lion, crossed swords and stylized P). In several places it is also marked with an underlined 9. I've been unable to determine what this designates. I've posted photos https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i0egeve63an665x/AAB2IehYrxzEIgDPBrEJI7O4a?dl=0 of the candelabra and of the only area on it with both the Prill mark and the underlined 9 although, as I said, the underlined 9 is in several locations. I realize the Prill mark isn't very clear in the photo but it is actually crystal clear and not in question. One dealer suggests the 9 is the number of pieces in the candelabra, but there are six pieces (counting the three silver drip trays). Another suggests it is the thickness of the silver plate, but I've not been able to find a reference for that. I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks for the advice. I"m hardly a novice at bulletin boards (used to run a large one) but I wasn't able to figure out how to add an attachment, even after reading the FAQ! Posting the image's Dropbox URL between the [URL] [\URL} tags doesn't work (preview just shows the URL) and when I post the URL of the image between the [IMG] [\IMG] tags I get a message that "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

That message appears when either the image is greatly oversized, or when there is an error in the coding.
