SILVER PLATED INKWELL -- TRYING TO IDENTY ONLY MARK ON BTM

Postby doldenburg » Wed May 03, 2006 6:01 pm

I have a silver plated InkWell -- that has a mrk on the bottom that looks like a palm fram -- or palm branch... sorta a ////// look to it... just one half. I tried to take pictures of it.. but can't seem to get a close enough image for it to be able to be photographed clearly.

With it being an ink well, could the mark be a feather quill? Best wishes, MIke.

Actualy -- YES, it could very well be a feather quill.... What does THAT mean????? Does that have some significance??? Or just the obvious that it's an ink well??? LOL

Have come across several writing related items with a quill on so presume it is a company logo. Best wishes, Mike.
