Need help with mark

Hello I need help identifying a mark on a frame that appears to be silver. Its a W in a star with a spider web behind the star. Patent date on the piece is 1879. You're very welcome.

The numbers would be for internal factory use, they would refer to a batch, pattern, or order detail.
