These are made of sterling not plate. Appear to be hand made. The sheet used for the ends has some voids in it that don't look like corrosion - like air bubbles when made. They are 3-1/4" long and stand 1-1/4" tall with the ends bent the way they are. One has a very old, browned piece of thread wedged in one end. They are also covered in thick hard tarnish which is almost like enamel, leading me to believe they may have been used in cooking? There are no hallmarks or maker's marks of any sort. If I knew what they were for , I could maybe know where to look for info.
