G & C G? Silver plate mark on teapot

Pretty sure the mark on the left read G & C G but the rest of it is just a mess, whoever stamped this was having an off day.

The four squarish punches on the right may contain the Gothic letters 'EPBM' Electro Plated Britannia Metal.

I'm not aware of the identity 'G & C G', but the position of the lower 'G' may not necessarily indicate the maker's surname, but may perhaps indicate the town of manufacture, eg. Glasgow.

thanks Trev, seems like a good line of enquiry to pursue. I bought it along with a piece that was made by W Dunningham & Co of Aberdeen so could well be one of the lesser known Glaswegian smiths.
