Antique silver plate mark, British

Help with this would be greatly appreciated, can't read the fancy script. It is found on the base of a footed gallery tray which has the registered design diamond dating the piece to 1884.

Hi Roy,

I believe that is one of the marks used by Naylor Clark & Co. (William Naylor and William Clark), of 131/2 Vittoria Street, Birmingham.

See: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_N.html for another of their similar marks.

Trev.

Spot on Trev, thank you so much again. Would have taken me hours if not days to decipher that as an N and C.
