What does 5 T D mean on bottom of my teapot

It is doubtful if these marks offer any information except as stock or re-ordering type details. They do not appear to identify a particular maker.

Sometimes the manufacturers mark was deliberately missing, at the request of the retailer, to ensure repeat business was placed with the original source of retail purchase.
