I have found a set of sugar tongs with hammered bird's foot nips. It's very difficult to photograph the marks so I'm hoping someone can help to identify them from my description.
The first part of the mark is a set of three capital letter Bs as an upturned triangle with the apex at the bottom. There are a further two marks underneath this which I cannot see properly to describe and then three solid stars again in the form of a triangle this time with the apex facing left. Underneath this is another mark I cannot see properly.
Can anyone identify this maker for me, country of origin and date.
