Hi,
I was given six Christofle serving pieces as a gift. They each bear the name Christofle and as a hallmark they also have a picture of a scale with three stars and also a knight with the letters OC or IOC. They do not appear to have the head of the Minerva. I believe they were all made in the early 1980's. Without the head of the Minerva are they all silverplate? They all appear quite heavy. I have seen the Christofle history/hallmark page and these hallmarks appear to match those that are post 1935. Is there any way to tell if they are silver or silverplate?
Many Thanks!
Pam
