silverplate tray identification photo shy

Postby jewelll » Tue Nov 29, 2005 10:58 pm

My question is : I have a silver plate tray with handles and it looks very old and it has a picture that is half faded off of a soldier with a gun across his front and a strap over his shoulder. Above his head it says trade continental. Then under him it says Han_ possibly Q or a Whought.

Then under that silverlook in block letters, and 721 .

Thank you ahead of time for any help.

Your mark was used on hammered aluminum pieces made by the Continental Silver Co. from the 1930s into the '50s. They were well known for their Chrysanthemum pattern.
