Canterbury, anything about this company/silversmith, age etc

I got a puzzle to solve. Our art teacher gave us this picture:



Our task as students is to find as much information about this company / age of the subject as possible. I know that Canterbury made flatware and holloware in the 50's. But I have no idea what is its origin and when did this company prospered. Does the three symbollic marks means sth?

Welcome to the Forum.

Rainwater has it that Canterbury Silversmiths Inc. were based in Brooklyn.
They manufactured silver plated and sterling holloware. The 'Canterbury' Trademark was registered on the 12th November 1948.

It would be good if you would post any information that you find on this company.
