I have a set of forks marked with an S enclosed in a diamond, a second S enclosed in what I will call a badge shape and a P enclosed in a box followed by the number 20.

What do these signify? In particular the 20.

Sears Roebuck & Co. The 20? not sure, maybe a pattern number.
