Please help Identify Manufaturer of N.F.-100

Silvermark is N.F. in an oval circle. To the right of the circle is -100. This is could be silverplate or sterling. I have 61 pcs. THe weight is equicalant to my Towel Chippendale Sterling flatware. One identifing service has stated that this is German, however, I cannot find this mark in the online encyclepdia. The closest I found was Danish. I wish I could include a photo but I do not have the capability here. Thanks so much.[/b]
