help id cufflink with town or artist...bechce

have 1 1/14" diameter cufflink marked "bechce mexico" 925 on reverse...is this a town or artist designation?

The word "bechce" may actually be "hecho en" meaning made in.
The figure 925 refers to the cufflink's silver content: it is Sterling silver.
