Need help identifying a mark.

A friend gave me a necklace about 10 years ago and he said he bought it from an Albuquerque artist. I've been trying to find out who made it. The mark is MJ with "mountains" around each initial. Does anyone know who it is? The image is here:

An image of the whole piece may help someone decide whether it is Navajo, Zuni, etc. and thus narrow down the maker.
