Hecho (ECHO) Mexico silver maker

Postby silversonic » Fri Jun 18, 2010 7:34 am

It states either "HECHO" or "ECHO" "MEXICO", 925, "I.M.P" or "I.M.D" and a strange looking stamp that looks like an oval shape with two marks inside it that I cannot fathom.

Hecho Mexico means Made (in) Mexico, the next mark is an eagle 14 which dates the piece from 1955-1979 and the initials are I.M.P. which are mentioned in the hallmark book but with no further info.
