I have a tourquoise pendant pin marked "MEXICO LPAC" on back. What does that mark mean?

ALPACA means silver plated

Common misconception, but for the record, Alpaca or Alpacca does not mean silver plated. It means the item is made of Nickel Silver, a material that is sometimes silverplated & sometimes not.
