HELP TO IDENTIFY MAKERS MARKS ON SNUFF BOX

Postby BEN » Sun Oct 14, 2007 1:45 pm

Hello, i would be very grateful if any one could tell me the makers mark on my silver snuff box. The box has a anchor ,lion , and a f which i think is the 1778 f.
The makers stamp is C&N it also has a 22 and six dots stamped onto it.

many thanks!

Sounds like Crisford & Norris in which case the "f" would be for 1905.
