Italian? Inkwell from WWII refugee. Can't identify mark

Postby toonces » Fri Sep 21, 2007 3:56 pm

Hello, so far neither the Pottery and Glass nor Antiques discussion boards at eBay have been able to identify the mark on a 5 inch glass inkwell with a silver overlay. Here is a closeup of the mark, I hope it is not too big, it was the only way I could get it to show.
Thanks for any help! Judy

Judy

use your photoshop program to crop the picture down to a manageable size - this will enlarge the mark - then repost

Hello. I believe that's an Austria-Hungary import mark.

You're welcome.
Don't see anything else in your pictures that indicates who the manufacturer was.

Pat.
