Silver spoon

firstly - apologies for no photo - I'm trying to get one of sufficient quality to post
the spoon is 6" long and has a rose pattern filling the bowl and a pattern of dots around the edge of the bowl, and a small rose on the rear of the bowl.
The marks are:
tiny letters FDIN
followed by what looks like and R and possible a lion
the numbers 265922 follow
photo with some of the design showing
Firstly, does this make sense to anyone?
Secondly what are the tricks to get such clear photographs? I'm using a small kodak digital camera - - is natural light best to get good results?
