Hello, there never was a central assay office in Germany, so nobody controlled, how or if the makers followed the hallmarking law. They should have punched: halfmoon, crown, finenenss, but if they did not, nobody said anything. Without a maker's mark one has no chance of finding out who made this. One can narrow down the date a little: 835 was uncommon in Germany before the 1930ies. Could have been made anytime after that. Best wishes, Bahner.
