cassel or karlsruhe or ? ~ German town mark

Found this on a German fiddle pattern spoon with an engraved date of 1857 and maker's mark "Proll". Looking to identify the town or region.

Hi Tom, Kassel city mark, in use since ca. 1850. Friedrich Proll, maker from Kassel, born 1797, active since 1824, died 1864. Best wishes, Bahner
