Post by Josar »

I have a small silver pitcher with the following Mark. Can anyone identify its origin?
Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Please embed your images, as very few members will click on such links. Always include images of all of the marks.

https://postimages.org (choose 'Share', then copy the 'Hotlink for forums' code) is recommended. Do not use Photobucket or Dropbox.

Hi
Can we have more pictures? From the complete item to help define the age by the stile. The mark look like master marks from Geneva from the 1700, but I have no relevant book. Also, there should be more marks, a similar mark or the same mark a second time.
Is this the only mark?

I'm not sure but the mark reminds me Storck & Sinsheimer in Hanau.

Hello Jorg, thank you for your response and interest. I believe I have located the origin. I have found similar information from Storck & Sinsheimer Hanau, Germany. It appears that the Mark and Pitcher are their work.

Thank you Krisztian, it looks to me like the same pitcher style and mark…
