Is Cassetti a famous brand?

Post by AllSeasons »

I recently bought this 925 spoon made by Cassetti. It also has the name "Fatto A Mano" on it. Is that the name of the silversmith? Anyone know if this was made in Italy or the US? Here's an image. Thanks in advance!

FATTO A MANO means handmade and yes Cassetti is a large Italian producer of silver and silver plate.

Thank you! Glad to own my very first Italian sterling piece. Well, still waiting for it in the mail, but should arrive soon.

Hi,

When the spoon arrives, can you let us know the numbers and letters contained within the star mark?

This is the best image I could take with my phone. Didn't come out so great, unfortunately. I think it says 55 and then another number that I couldn't quite make out. Hope this helps.
