The same mark was used by Gebruder Dingeldein;``Augsburg`` acorn being very popular.
I have a goblet with Nurenberg N and later saw exactly the same piece with Augsburg fantasy marks.
Gebruder Dingeldein moved to America and continued the production.
What is the object discussed here ? Do not get disappointed; after so many years I gave up believing in great finds like 18th century Nuremberg in flea markets or sold by ignorant dealers.
Regards

I'll send you the link via PN. I was unsure about the object, that's why I wrote "1750?" with the "?", but my thought was: "old or fake", I didn't think about Hanau. Some of those Hanau-marks are not obvious.

I don't think its fake at all. Wait till Theodrich sees it first. I have a few old Nuremberg pieces and this is how they are usually marked. Do you have a pic of the entire piece?

Not a fake. And not even a fraudulent intention because it is clearly described by the auctioneer as ``um 1900``

Well, having only this picture and nothing else to work with, I feel the piece is older than 1900 but again, this all I have to work on

I have seen the link (thank you AG2012) and confess I most likely wrong about its age and would consider it Hanau
