There is a controversy with N.Strulev (Stroulev).
4030 in Ivanov claims ``
Moscow after 1908``
The same in PL №№ 2747, 2748
But in Skurlov - N.Strulev died 1898.
Nevertheless, many items attributed to him (including cigarette cases) were made after 1908.
There was Natalia Strouleva (the same family name) who was a trader in the same time frame, but no reference for her relation with N. Strulev

A little reminder:
There are certain rules of conduct in this forum! One of them is not just to show the silver stamp - but the entire object.
Only then can it be possible to draw conclusions about the manufacturer.

Very popular motif after Russian painter
Ivan Shishkin.I think it`s not known who made the first mold but it was widely copped, and always rather crude details, though.

In spite of contradicting year of death in Skurlov, both PL and Ivanov say Nikolay Strulev. Николай Струлёв after 1908.
Besides, when a silversmith dies it does not mean everything he made is buried with him or destroyed.

Hi -
Shishkin´s motif was used nearly by all major manufacturers. Even the 5th Moscow Artel and the Soviet makers used it!
