Hi
I have a set of 5 apostle spoons (small) from the Netherlands (I believe); Only the top exists of the sixth.
There is the smallest sword (no numbers in sword) stamped into the front of the spoon. There are marks on the back.
I don't know if anyone can help with a date or guesstimate, or any other information really.
Appreciated
Gary

Hi Gary,

Yes, I believe to recognize the Dutch sword mark too, the flower and N or Z are Dutch pseudo marks. The maker's mark is the small rectangle with cut corners between the two pseudo marks. I guess made first half 20th century.

Hallo,

Oel's comment is correct.

To make it even more subtle, it is worth mentioning that the "Floral Pseudo Mark"
was used in Schoonhoven. (S).
This is stated in the book of K.A. Citroen.

In the front of this book, under the names of Schoonhoven (Pseudo), there are a number of names that qualify for this.

Good luck.
