I am looking at purchasing this urn, and I have two questions, please.

1. What does the delta symbol signify, is anything, behind the A8?

2. Is the irregularity of where this filigre banding meets a good characteristic or a sign of some sort of machine?

The band is die stamped and soldered to the urn. Two ends were not precisely aligned.
It happens. Minor flaw if everything else is OK.
