Are any helpful forum members able to offer an identification for an Edinburgh Silversmith using the initials "IR", working in the year 1825?
Many thanks, in advance.

Jackson's silver and gold marks lists the names John Robb and James Redpath (p.563) as working in Edinburgh around this time. However, I can't find a picture of their marks I'm afraid.

Thank you Miles; that is most helpful. It did occur to me that the "I" could be an archaic spelling of "J".
