Hi -
The letters PJS are attributed to Silventoinen, Pekka J. in St. Petersburg, working in the years 1886-1907.

Yes and No! Money purses in eggform were only presented at Eastern - nobody carried them over the year! So they were more seldom bought than the "normal" form - the existing surviving eggs were mostly stored away and forgotten - many altered and sold as "Fabergé or Ovtschinnikov" with new fake marks. In this respect you can call it rare - even in this faultless state. Congratulations!

Hi,
The purse with blue enamel lettering.
‘’Kто денежки бережет
Tот без нужды живет’’

Russian proverb, literally: ‘’who saves money lives without the need’’
