Hello Krisztián

This is the mark of Duclos & Gouffé, manufacturing silversmiths in Paris at 32, rue Richelieu from 22 September 1899 - 20 July 1901. The symbol is a setting sun.
Hope this helps.

The partnership was between Roger Henri Duclos (born 27 Mar 1872, Paris, 8th arrondissement) and Emile Gouffé (born 21 Apr 1871, Paris, 11th arrondissement). Both men entered individual marks after the dissolution of the partnership: Duclos on 19 Jul 1901 at 17 rue Molière, and Gouffé on 19 Oct 1901 at the 32 rue Richelieu premises.

Gouffé was a witness to Duclos’ marriage, on 20 Aug 1899, to Louise Honorine Lesueur. Gouffé married, on 17 Oct 1893, to Constance Genetines, herself a metal burnisher; they divorced in 1903.

A note on Gouffé ’s birth record states that he died on 20 Dec 1922. I have not found a death record for Duclos.

And I have just read on Roger Henri Duclos' birth certificate that he was son of an engraver. Maybe an engraver on metal ?
Funny to see how people stayed in close "social circles"...
