Hi,
Seated Hermes, found in Herculaneum in mid 18th century (the National Archaeological Museum of Naples). Several reproductions in silver have been offered elsewhere, as well as other Ancient sculptures reproduced in silver, all ``made in Italy around 1900``. Dating is questionable because of several items still appearing on commercial sites at the same time. Anyway, fineness ``800`` indicates newer production. Papal States mark should be ignored.
Best wishes
