i have this great victorian silver box
i have no idea of the maker or country of origin
any help will be appreciated

32 MI,Milano, Italy (1944 - 1968) and Sweden import marks 1912-1988
DITTA MESSULAM ENRICO di Alberto (1949) changed to MESSULAM S.a.s. (1970) changed to MESSULAM spa (1990)
The mark registered in 1935.

is this considered silver or silver-plate
the box is absolutely beautiful

It`s solid silver,purity of the alloy being 830/1000,guaranteed by Italian maker`s mark and Swedish import mark.
