can anyone identify silver mark

Postby Stewart » Thu Mar 30, 2006 9:31 am

My name is Stewart and I have a large table spoon which I believe to be silver and it is heavyier than a normal table spoon. The identifying silver marks on the rear of the handle include an image of an [OWL] has anyone seen or heard of an OWL image silver mark. I have a photo on my PC but I am trying to find out how to load it onto this forum.

On this site...click on 'site map' and look at French hallmarks. Best wishes, Mike.

You might want to check out the owl mark used by Weidlich Sterling Spoon Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA. It's listed on this site under W.
