Any help identifying Maker's Mark "GJLD" on silver

Apologies for not including any photos, the hallmarks are on the curve of the bracelet, and although I tried about a dozen times to capture the image, I failed. There is a similar one available on the www, but it's not mine, so I can't include it here.
The bracelet is in two halves, joined by a clasp on one side and a hinge on the other side. One side has engraving on the outside and the other side is plain. It has four hallmarks on the engraved half, and two repeated on the plain half.
The first hallmark is the Maker's Mark: "GJLD", all in capitals, with no spaces, and the "D" is superscript, which I take to be the abbreviation for Limited, although it could also be London, or anything else. My investigations turned up the names Georg Jensen and George Jackson, but neither of these seem to fit with the other information.
The second hallmark, the Standard Mark, is a lion facing left, head facing the viewer, and standing on all four paws, which I understand is the sterling .925 purity symbol. This is on both halves of the bracelet.
The third hallmark, the City Mark, appears to be a leopard's head, for London. It is quite worn, but is in the rough shape of an ancient Greek vase with two eyes and a mouth visible. This is on both halves of the bracelet.
The fourth and final hallmark, the Date Letter, is a lower case italic q, the London mark for 1971. This fits in with the fact that I received the bracelet as a gift in October 1972.
It is still in its original box, which has the name "GEOFFREY RICHARD" embossed on the inside of the lid. He appears to have been a Birmingham-based jeweller in 1971.
The similar mark on the www is "G. J LD", i.e. with a dot and a space different to the mark I have, and has been credited as Georg Jensen. There is no Import mark, however, and I understand he was based in Denmark. George Jackson is too early for the date.
