What Are These 2 Small Symbols Next to "WC"?

Hi! I know this is a William Chawner spoon, but does anyone know the meaning of the two very small symbols just to the left of the "WC" in the below image?

Do these two little marks mean something?

Although your item may be attributed to William Chawner, there were other lesser known makers at that time and each maker with the same initials had to have a 'difference' of some sort in their makers mark. So it is possibly not Chawner. However, most dealers do tend to attribute them to him and you have no reason to think otherwise...if you get my drift.

Those marks are for William Chawner ll ,he entered his first mark alone (after being with Eley and Fearn) as a spoonmaker 9th Feb 1815, his third mark entered on 27th January 1820 works out spot on for your item, this mark shows W.C with the pellet as seen.
