There is a mark, a russian text (I can not read) is this the makes name?

Hi, All.

I think without a photo of subject , it is possible to tell that this product of SAZIKOV's firm (САЗИКОВ) . Moscow 1862.
SAZIKOV was one of the best and famous Moscow-Petersburg firm in Russia, was supplier of the Imperial Court, founded in 1793 by the merchant Pavel Fyodorovich Sazikov (died in 1830).
After P.F.Sazikov’s death the business in Moscow was carried on his son Ignatiy Pavlovich Sazikov, Court manufacturer since 1837. In 1868 after I.P. Sazikov died the business was carried on by his sons. In Moscow the firm was lead by Sergey Ignatievich Sazikov and Pavel Ignatievich Sazikov. The shops and the factories existed till the beginning of 1887 , then they were passed to Khlebnikov’s firm.
"BC" - assaymaster.
"man on horse" - st. Georgiy - town mark of Moscow.

Best Reg..

Thanks Dad for your information. Very usefull.
I promised to post the goblet.
The height is only 55 mm (2 inch)
Inside the goblet it looks like gilded.

The goblet outside seems like bark.
Is there a name for such technique?

I was hoping on some more comments on this subject.
Are the markings fake? I do not understand your comments.
The object looks like to be made by a skilled silversmith, why should he fake marks?

There are undoubtedly some a bit disturbing factors with this object. The court supplier mark seems to be in the wrong place in connection to this type of Sazikov's maker's mark. Moreover, the whole object looks brand new being over 100 years old, not worn, no signs of use, very little scratches in the bottom. The assayer's initials BC is often seen on fakes etc. Fakes are not at all always made in bad quality, on the contrary some times in a better workmanship than genuine pieces.
