Sources for late 19th/20th century British maker's marks

I would like a recommendation for a book or books that has good information on late 19th through 20th century silver manufacturers, particularly Birmingham. I know that a number of the forum members seem to come up with maker IDs of this era fairly quickly, so perhaps they could share their secret!
