»Arum ssp.« inspired hollowware model from »WTB« = Wilhelm Binder

Hello Elena

This hollowware model from »WTB«, Wilhelm Binder, Schwäbisch Gmünd, is a »Jugendstil« (»Art Nouveau«) model, inspired by the »Arum« plant.

In your case the little spadix of flower, insert in a fleshy spathe, is lost.

How many different items from this »Arum« inspired model are made, I don't know. It seems to me that it was a range of coffee-tea-set with creamer, sugar bowl, waiter - and in your case a »spoon server bowl« (?). Maybe with coffee and tea spoons of same design?

Kind regards silverport
