German Mark with 13

German, believe the piece is circa 1820. Initials look to be FCB. Any help appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum antiquer,

In my opinion the maker's marks reads FIC or FVC. The town mark is a B.
The standard is 13 lot or 13/16 and that is 812/1000 pure silver.

Hi,
If the B mark is indeed separate and indicates the town, can anyone identify the town? It looks to me as if the top letters are FC, each in a teardrop shaped cartouche similar to the B, but at different angles.

I have never seen any pieces from this town. I wrote what I have read in "Znaki na srebrze" by Michał Gradowski. The author didn't come along any of these pieces either but repeated this attribution after the L. Lepszy "Przemysł złotniczy w Polsce" from the 1933. So it's not certain. I would say even doubtful. But the mark shown in his book looks very similar to this B mark.

But I wonder... Maybe this really is just a fancy master's mark in shape of three-leaf clover. Style of all three letters is pretty much similar.
