Hi Theoderich,

No, there is no town mark like that and the only smith with the initials AB was active in the first half of the 18th century.

Ref: Schoubye: Sønderjysk sølv

Hi again,

I had to take a look on your homepage to find the "three men in a boat"- mark posted by Ringo.

Could it be Neustadt in Schleswig-Holstein?

Best regards/JAKJO

Thank You again JAKJO,
Neustadt was also my first presumption.
But ringo said that no rectangular mark is known from Neustadt.
It is always an oval mark.

Hi,

Ok, I understand. Are you of the opinion that it is a typical spoon from the border region between Denmark and Germany?

Best regards/JAKJO
