Stuttgart Silver Beaker - SICK maker's mark.

Postby echo801 » Wed Oct 22, 2008 4:04 pm

Hello
I have a German beaker that appears to have the Stuttgart mark; as the horse is sort of transitional from rearing to galloping I'm guessing late 18th early 19th century?!
I wondered if anybody could confirm and if the maker's mark SICK means anything to anybody.
My thanks to the forum.

Seems that there was a silversmith called EBERHARD SICK: so I've answered my own question.
Regards to all.

How about Johann Christian Sick?
