Hello,
could it be this mark? It is the Austrian export mark after 1922 (Tardy, Page 77). What are the other marks on the bowl?

Thank Your for help Ringo
Now I think the other Mark could be a Part of the Josef Carl Klinkosch mark viewtopic.php?t=16332&highlight=klinkosch

1922 - I tought my bowl is from 1800 - but now it seems to be a 20. century item.

Hi Theo,

Was that export mark used only on new items?

Josef Carl Klinkosch (1822-1888) had a long career, he received the right to work on his own account in 1843, following his apprenticeship to his father at the Mayerhofer & Klinkosch factory at Vienna.

His business was sold c.1918, having been run by his sons, Isidor and Arthur since their father's death, and the factory finally closed in 1953.

If the export mark was also used on secondhand silver, then it may perhaps be of earlier manufacture.

Regards Trev.

Thank you dognose - this sounds good for me - it could be, that this item was exported later.
It is also possible - that this mark is not the lower part of the Josef Carl Klinkosch mark.

Whatever the outcome, I doubt if it would have been made much earlier than the 1920's dateing.
