2 keys crossed on the base of a gravy boat

Postby janjol » Wed Sep 21, 2005 11:13 am

Can anyone help me with where this hallmark comes from? There are 2 keys crossed on the base of a silver gravy boat. Would appreciate a reply. Thanks

That could by a townmark from several countries like Leiden (Holland, Riga (Russia), Leignitz (Germany).

Do you have more details, c.q. images?

Crossed keys are also a common silverplate mark.
