2 Reposse berry Spoons

Hi
I have two sterling Repousse spoons I am looking to identify the makers mark. They have the following marks in the following order:
Makers Mark JL in a rectangle box, followed by Duty mark head facing right which I believe is 1786-1821, Lion Passant, Town mark of castle for Exeter, and the uppercase P in a square box which i believe is 1811.
PLEASE HELP ME!

My Jackson's III identifies a John Legg with maker's mark J<pellet>L in a rectangular shield as entered at Exeter in 1809 (same mark apparently mis-identified as J. Langdon for same city and date in Wyler).

Thanks! Did you see the photos? I finally figured out how to post them. *Sigh* But they are there in one of my posts. So if you look at that marking, you'd say John Legg? Thanks!

Yes, though rubbed, the marks do appear to me to indicate Legg in Exeter, and made 1811-12. By the way, the "froof" on the spoons (repousee work and impressed designs) was most likely added in later Victorian times, when earlier, plain spoons were "improved" with ornate aesthetic designs popular at the time. Many die hard collectors consider these "improvements" to be akin to desecration, but, then again, such "upgraded" spoons usually sell for an added premium in the general market, excepting perhaps in the cases of very famous/collectible makers.
