Hello. Might be the Winthrop Mfg. Company, Attleboro, Massachusetts.
Don't know how long they were in business.

Thank you for your reply it is shaped like an acorn but is just lines and no top.
Sort of line a square around the W but a shape like an acorn...hope that makes sense...thank you so much.
