Simons Brothers Mirror

Postby anjene » Sat Sep 15, 2007 8:07 pm

I recently bought this mirror in the southern part of ontario. On the side it is marked with a 's' design, which I found to be the Simons Brothers. It also says sterling and 2000. It has a dent in the handle, on the top of the backside, on the upper right edge, and a number of scatches. The man who sold it to me new little about it. He guessed that it was from the 1930's. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate on it's age or anything else I might like to know. No matter what I still love my mirror. :) Thanks!

Just curious is all. Not that it really matters, they are still in business, and this site may be able to help you further. The only problem is, at this time it is under construction, I am going to bookmark it and check back later.
