American Sterling silver mark

I have three pieces of sterling silver holloware that I am unable to locate the manufactuer names. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Mark is just the work Sterling with a A beside it
2. R S & Co inside a shield
3. Mans head with goatee, crown and S.

The third mark is that of Sheffield Silver Co., in business in Brooklyn, NY from 1908 to 1950 and the piece would most likely be silver plated.
