help identifying maker of spoon

I need help identifying the maker of this sppon. I really don't know anything about it so any help would be great. thanks!

also can anyone tell me what kind of spoon this is considered?

Again, a description or photo of the marks on the back of the spoon will better help us to identify the maker.

so on the bakc of the spoon there is a D which can be seen underneath the word sterling, and then to the left of that is what I believe is the makers mark.

Durgin's Watteau pattern, introduced in 1891, looks like a cream soup spoon, but knowing the length would be necessary to be sure.

thank you! Its 5 and 1/2 inches. Is there a way for me to tell which year the spoon is from? It has a D on it for the letter.

At that length, it would be a bouillon spoon. Durgin didn't use date codes, the letter is most likely a weight code.
