EG or PG mark on coin silver (?)

Post by AllSeasons »

Sorry, one more question for the forum before my wife shuts down my silver collection for a while. Honestly, I'm just exchanging fiat money for real money :-) But you know, groceries and diapers and such.

Anyway, I need some help with another (potential) coin silver mark. I think it says EG or PG or even FG, but am not sure. Not even sure if it's coin silver. It's monogrammed with the year 1900 after the name, so that's putting up some red flags, but I suppose it could've been added later. Any insight would be appreciated.

An image of the mark is below. Thank you in advance, as always.

And really, an picture of the piece, front and back, makes a lot of difference when asking for help.

Sorry, I don't own these items, so I had to post it as a general question about marks.
